Abstract submission to the Nordic Winter Sports Conference
You are kindly invited to submit abstracts related to work that you wish to present during the NWSC. All topics within winter-sport disciplines, including winter Para sports, will be considered. Only those abstracts submitted online via the conference website will be considered for evaluation. Please note: Abstracts must be submitted no later than Monday 15th August 2022.
All abstract submissions will be evaluated by the scientific committee, who will select up to fifteen abstracts for oral presentation, and abstracts not accepted for oral presentation may be accepted for poster presentation. You will be required to select your preferred method of presentation during the submission process, and all prospective presenters will be notified of the outcome via e-mail by Friday 2nd September 2022.
Oral presentations will involve a 10-min Powerpoint presentation followed by 5 min of discussion (further instructions on how to prepare and upload oral presentation content will be provided prior to the conference). Posters should be produced in A1 size using a portrait layout (594 mm wide x 841 mm long).
All accepted abstracts will be published online in the NWSC Book of Abstracts after the conference.
Applied Researcher Award
A prize of €500 will be awarded for the best oral presentation in the field of applied research, as evaluated by the scientific committee.
